The surface must be rough, so we prepare the slab with sandblasting. Then, powerful water jets draw 5 mm equally distant straight lines. By crossing the lines we can obtain squares.
Combining the jets, it is possible to obtain alternate lines of 5 or 10 mm, as you can see in the pictures. After that, the surface can be brushed.
